Last Cake Class

Sadly tonight I had my last cake class for the 1st course I took ( I got a certificate and everything:-). Due to being out of town this weekend, I wasn't very prepared for class (hence the lack of colors). However, I think my cake turned out OK. We have been learning how to make roses out of buttercream frosting. I've done naturally well with most of the techniques, but I struggled with that darn rose!! Who knew it could be so hard? I have a week off, and then I start Course 2... on to borders and more stinkin' flowers!!
