Family Tree Cake

I was asked to make a cake for a co-worker's family reunion, and am so excited about the way it turned out! I made a basic golden yellow cake with almond butter cream frosting. I melted white chocolate in various fall colors and cut out different sized leaves. I am still struggling with my handwriting, so I may be looking to take a class just for that. It probably didn't help that my icing was a bit too thin, but I still think the cake turned out nicely. Check out the pumpkins and acorns I bought from a cake supply store called SugarBakers here in Knoxville. They were so cute I had to buy a few to complete the cake. Anyway, here are a few pictures.
